YAY!!!!

I just got approval from my insurance for the surgery!!!! This monday i go to my regular Dr to get a release for surgery and then we will set a date!!

IM ECSTATIC!!!!

I am so scared!!

My friend just broke it to me that 2 years ago she had lapband!! OMG She has not lost anything, i am so afraid of that!!!

Ok now that i got that off my chest, i got a call from my new dr office (whom i have not even visited yet) saying that my first appt which is next wed (the 21st) well be just meeting the doctor and going over my chart to be sure i already did all the requirements at the other dr office. If so, they will just put it through to the insurance for approval on the actual surgery. Its getting closer.............

New name

I have been trying to think of a new name for my blog. Im tired of my life being a weight loss journey, any ideas?????

WAS in a slight funk!!

Im not even gonna tell you about my current position on the lapband journey!!

So, those who know me know that my husband has been unemployed since last september. He has been applying for every job under the sun......The problem you ask??? He makes the max on unemployment so in order to find a job making the same as unemployment he would have to get at least 15$ a hour. There are 50 people applying for the same jobs as him but are willing to take way less. UGH!!!!

My husband had to go outta town with his father for 9 days, i have never been away from him that long :( He left last saturday at 6AM and wont be back til easter sunday.

Ok now you notice the title of this blog says WAS??? :0)

Hubby got a call wednesday before he left, a company called Borax, im sure you have heard of the soap?? They want to interview him thursday. Hubby went and was offered a job as a forklift operator starting at 19.48$ an hour, ALSO they asked him to come back for another interview for a supervisor position making 35$ an hour. So he accepted the position as forklift operator, of course still in hopes for the other position. YAY a JOB!!!

Also, next week is spring break for my kids at school. I took the week off of work using vacation days just in case hubby got the job and guess what??? THey want him to start his job on the 12th which is the monday after spring break. So hubby, myself and my kids are all off for a week before he starts :0) In 12 years of marriage it has never happened!!! Ok so hopefully things are turnin around to the positive in my life eh??

Now surgery hurry up already!!!!

I always loved the name Anna Mareena i said i would name my daughter that if i ever had one but i had boys.

2. Why are man hole covers round?

Cause as people grow they grow rounder not squarer JEESH!!

3. What's one of your biggest pet peeves?

My pet peeve is when your telling someone something (or a story) and they have to always interupt and have to top it!!! Can i just tell my story? Im sure yours is interesting also but give me my glory at least for a minute HAHA

4. If you could be a car - what would it be?

I want a Chrysler 300 but if I were a car, i would be a dodge stealth!! Only because i test drove one once along time ago and never felt so much power in my hands in my life :)





5. What's the biggest thing you learned from a blog this week or which blog spoke to you the most this week off the top of your head?

Mine was from LDswims - Her blog about the changes that happen in a person after weight loss bad or good!! It really hit home cause i been over weight my whole life and my husband chose me when i was fat, my family loved me when i was fat, i had great friends when i was fat, I dont wanna lose any of those by becoming a mightier than thow skinny!!!
